On December 28, 2007, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate The Feasibility and Research Report of The Road between Lixian and Changde in Hunan Province. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Dai Riyong, the President held a research meeting in Beijing, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on The Feasibility Study Report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on May 15, 2008 by submitting the document named “The Evaluation Report for The Feasibility Study of The Road between Lixian and Changde in Hunan Province” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 113km. There’re 114 bridges with the total length of 27484m. It will take three years to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB6.883 billion, of which the static investment is RMB 6.322 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the perfection of national expressway network, to the implement of transport development plan of Hunan Province skeleton road network, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation. ?Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the development of the mid-China, to promote the fast and harmonious economic development of Changde, to the regional travel cooperation and to enhance the capability of fighting the flood and providing disaster relief in Dongting Lake etc.
