On December 28, 2007, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Project Application of The Road between Hejiang and Naxi in Sichuan Province. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules.? The evaluation and expert team led by Mr.Dai Riyong, the President, held a research meeting in Beijing, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions concerning the related issues. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Project Application and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on May 8, 2008, by submitting the document named “The Evaluation for Project Application of The Road between Hejiang and Naxi in Sichuan Province” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 74.43km. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB4.753 billion, of which the static investment RMB4.277 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the perfection of national expressway network, to the implement of transport development plan of Sichuan Province skeleton road network, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation. ?Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the development of the strategy of developing of the western region, to promote the implement of the construction of resource base, to boost the economic development of Chengyu Economic Area, to the regional travel cooperation etc.
