On December 10, 2007,the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Project Proposal for the Fengdu? Second? Bridge on the Yangtze River in Chongqing. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Dairiyong , the President held a research meeting in Chongqing , followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Project Proposal and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on April 22, 2008 by submitting the document named “the Evaluation Report for the Project Proposal for the Fengdu Second Bridge on the Yangtze River in Chongqing” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main line is 2104m. It will take 38 months to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB1.012billion, of which the static investment is RMB0.953-billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network, ??to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation and to the optimization of expressway network structure. Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of promoting the construction of the latter part of the Three Gorges reservoir area, to the development of Fengdu construction, to ?accelerate the migration making prosperity etc.
