On September 7, 2007, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Feasibility and Research Report of the road between Songxi and Jian’ou in Fujian Province. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Wei baisong, the Vice President held a research meeting in Nanping , followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Feasibility Study Report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on January 22, 2008 by submitting the document named “the Evaluation Report for the Feasibility Study of the road between Songxi and Jian’ou in Fujian Province” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main line is 103km. There’re 43 bridges have 16492m length. It will take three and a half years to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB6.364 billion, of which the static investment is RMB 5.719-billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the perfection of national expressway network, to the implement of transport development plan of Haixi Economic Region road and water line, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation. ?Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the construction development of Haixi Economic Region, to the economic development of Fujian northern areas, to the regional travel cooperation and to the strength of military ready for the resolution of Taiwan issue etc.
