On September 7, 2007, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Report Feasibility Study for the 6th Ring Road between Liangxiang to Zhaikou in Beijing. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Dai Riyong, the President, held a research meeting in Mentougou, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Feasibility Study Report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on December 25, 2007 by submitting the document named “the Evaluation Report of the Feasibility Study Report for the 6th Ring Road between Liangxiang to Zhaikou in Beijing” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The scope of this construction project: the main line has a 38.25km length.It is planned to be completed before Olympic Games. The adjusted budget of this Project is RMB6.621 billion, of which the static investment is RMB 6.398 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to perfecting the national expressway network, to ensuring the transport of the Beijing Olympic Games, to improving the Beijing’s Regional Comprehensive Network and to satisfying its regional transportation development. Upon the completion of this project, it will obviously generate social benefits of accelerating the economic integration of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Zone, to improving its social and economic development, to facilitating the economic structure readjustment in the west part of Beijing etc.
