?On October 31, 2007, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Project Application of the road between Changsha(Yong’an) to Liuyang (Xiangganjie) in Hunan Province. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules.? The evaluation and expert team led by Mr.Dai Riyong, the President, held a research meeting in Changsha, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions concerning the related issues. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Project Application and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on December 17, 2007, by submitting the document named “the Evaluation for Project Application of the road between Changsha(Yong’an) to Liuyang (Xiangganjie) in Hunan Province” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main line is 63.57km. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB3.714 billion, of which the static investment RMB3.412 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to running through the fast passage linking Hunan and Jiangxi provinces, to the perfection of national expressway network, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation. Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the development of the mid-China, the promotion of the economic integration of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Economic District and the improvement of Liuyang social and economic development etc.
