In May 2006, the Jiangning District Construction Bureau and Jiangning Water Supply Corporation entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to undertake the Northern Jiangning Wastewater Treatment Plant in Nanjing by BOT Investment method. Through one year’s diligent work, the public bidding process was successfully completed. The Jiangning Water Supply Corporation and Singapore Asian Environmental Protection Holding Co., Ltd. signed a series of contracts including the Concession Right Contract and the Wastewater Treatment Contract.
The total budget of this proposed project is RMB90 million with the final designed capacity of 120000 m3/d. The current designed capacity of 80,000 m3/d is to be built in two stages with the 2nd phase to be undertaken within two years upon the signature of the 1st phase contract.
