BOT Investment Co., Ltd. was entrusted by the Liangyungang Government to undertake to structure the East Harbor Highway Project of the Main Port in Lianyungang by means of joint tendering method. The Project starting from the south section of the Demurrage Road to Dashan Island and connecting the Lianhuo Expressway has the total length of 12.746km with 6 lanes. There are two channels with the total length of 4.5km, the longest of which is Huyuntai Mountain Channel with the length of 3.6km. The total project budget is RMB1.54 billion. It is planned to start construction in Dec. 2007 and put into operation in 2010 with the construction period of 26 months
