On May 16, 2007, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Feasibility and Research Report Evaluation for the section of National Highway between Xiamen to Chengdu in Hunan province. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules.? The evaluation and expert team led by Dai Riyong, the President carry out investigation and held a research meeting, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Project Proposal Evaluation report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on August 21, 2007, by submitting the document named “the Feasibility and Research Report Evaluation for the section of National Highway between Xiamen to Chengdu in Hunan province” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
　The scope of this project: the main line has a 309km length. There’re 131 great bridges and normal bridges of 60041m ,? 33 mid-size bridges of 2329m and 41 tunnels of 38096m. The construction period of this project is three years. After the evaluation, the estimated investment is RMB 17.9 billion, containing 16.3-billion-yuan static investment.
　The construction of this item, necessary to perfect construction of national highway, implement superhighway net programming in Hunan province, for adapt the development of the district transportation and prefect the district comprehensive transportation network system. After the construction of this item, it will be use to implement central part rising strategy, promote the revolution old area's taking off poverty to change richer and promote to travel resources development etc. and produce an obvious social performance.
