On March 15, 2006, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Project Proposal Evaluation for the road between Shilin To Suolongsi in Yunnan on the way between Erlianhaote to Hekou main road. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. ?The evaluation and expert team led by Wei baisong, the Vice President went to the project spot in Shilin in Yunnan to carry out investigation and held a research meeting, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Project Proposal Evaluation report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on July 12, 2007, by submitting the document named “the Project Proposal Evaluation for the road between Shilin To Suolongsi in Yunnan on the way between Erlianhaote to Hekou main road” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
　The scope of this project: the main line has a 106.22km length. The total? length of 77 bridges is 14129m, including 48 large bridges of 12965m in total, 13 medium-sized bridges of 737m and two tunnels of 970m. There’re 5 mutual communication type interchanges、a service station, a parking district、a management station. The construction period of this project is three years.
　The construction of this item, necessary to perfect national main road and the national superhighway net, implement superhighway net programming in Yunnan province, for adapt the development of the district transportation and prefect the district comprehensive transportation network system. ?After the construction of this item, it will speed western part economy development, and promote greatly China-ASEAN district cooperation and district tour cooperation. It also strengthen national defense war preparedness constructions etc. and produce an obvious social performance.
