Completed the Project Application Report Evaluation for Luyi Section of Xuchang-Bozhou Expressway in HeˇŻnan (September 15th, 2006)


ˇˇOn June 28, 2006, National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the project application report of Luyi Section of Xuchang-Bozhou Expressway in HeˇŻnan. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. Wei Baisong, the Vice President led the evaluation and expert team to the project spot in Zhengzhou, HeˇŻnan Province to carry out investigation and held a research meeting, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the project application report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on September 13, 2006, by submitting the document named ˇ°The Evaluation Report for the Project Application Report for Luyi Section of Xuchang-Bozhou Expressway in HeˇŻnanˇ± to National Development and Reform Commission.
ˇˇThe construction contents of the project include: the 45.4-kilometer-long construction line, the total length of the 17 bridges is 1709m, one main toll gate, one service area, and one monitoring center respectively. The project is expected to be completed in September 2008. The estimated investment is 1.57 billion yuan, containing 1.5-billion-yuan static investment.
ˇˇThe construction of the project is necessary to carry out the rising-up strategies for the middle part of China, to implement HeˇŻnan road network plan, to perfect regional comprehensive transportation network system, and to adapt to regional traffic transportation development. The completion of the project will produce obvious social benefits such as, to quicken the steps for the rising-up of the middle part of china, to advance the rapid economic development in Luyi, and to strengthen the regional tourist cooperation.
