On June 28, 2006, National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the project proposal of Ningyuan-Daoxian (Xiang-Gui Border) Road in Hunan. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. Dai Riyong, the President led the evaluation and expert team to the project spot in Changsha, Hunan Province to carry out investigation and held a research meeting, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the project proposal and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on September 8, 2006, by submitting the document named “The Evaluation Report for the Project Proposal of Ningyuan-Daoxian (Xiang-Gui Border) Road in Hunan” to National Development and Reform Commission.
　The construction contents of the project include: the 92-kilometer-long main line, one main toll gate, two service areas, two parking areas, two administration stations and one monitoring center. The construction period is three years. The estimated investment is 3.63 billion yuan, containing 3.39-billion-yuan static investment.
　The construction of the project is necessary to perfect the national expressway network, to implement Hunan expressway network plan, to perfect regional comprehensive transportation network system, and to adapt to regional traffic transportation development. The completion of the project will produce obvious social benefits such as, to implement the rising-up strategies for the middle part of China, to help backward areas become well-off, and to strengthen the regional tourist cooperation.
