Completed the Project Proposal Evaluation for Yingtan-Ruijin Road in Jiangxi (August 2006)


¡¡On May 25, 2006, National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the project proposal of Yingtan-Ruijin Road in Jiangxi. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. Wei Baisong, the Vice President led the evaluation and expert team to the project spot in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province to carry out investigation and held a research meeting, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the project proposal and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on August 2, 2006, by submitting the document named ¡°The Evaluation Report for the Project Proposal of Yingtan-Ruijin Road in Yunnan¡± to National Development and Reform Commission.
¡¡The construction contents of the project include: the 305-kilometer-long main line; one 1,205-meter-long especially large bridge, 155 middle and small bridges of 34,135 meters long in total; three tunnels of 3,250 meters long in total, six middle and small tunnels of 2,570 meters long in total; 10 toll gates, four service areas, five parking areas, three monitoring centers, and five maintenance areas. The construction period is three years. The estimated investment is 11.87 billion yuan, containing 11.08-billion-yuan static investment.
¡¡The construction of the project is necessary to perfect the national expressway network, to implement Jiangxi expressway network plan, to perfect regional comprehensive transportation network system, and to adapt to regional traffic transportation development. The completion of the project will produce obvious social benefits such as, to help old revolutionary areas become well-off, to develop red tourism, and to promote national defense armaments development.
