On April 15, 2010, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Feasibility Study Report of the Road between Mohei to Simao in Yunnan Province. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Mr. Dai Riyong, the President, held a research meeting in Beijing, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Feasibility Study Report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on December 31, 2011 by submitting the document named the Evaluation for the Feasibility Study Report of the Road between Mohei to Simao in Yunnan Province to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 65km. It will take four years to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB 4.06billion，of which the static investment RMB 3.78billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the perfection of national expressway network, to the implementation of transport development plan of Yunnan Province road network, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation.? Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the development of the western development strategy，promoting China-East-Asia Union cooperation, developing economic development in Pu’er and promoting tourism cooperation etc.
