On December 15, 2010, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Application Report of the Road between Pingyuan to Xingning in Guangdong Province. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Mr. Dai Riyong, the President, held a research meeting in Meizhou, followed by detailed communications and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Application Report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on March 11, 2011 by submitting the document named the Evaluation for the Application Report of the Road between Pingyuan to Xingning in Guangdong Province to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 98.12km. It will take three years to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB 7.42 billion, of which the static investment is RMB 6.94 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the perfection of the national expressway network, to the implementation of the transport development plan of Guangdong Province road network, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation. Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating Guangdong economic structure, promoting the development of regional economy and strengthening the tourism development etc.
