Mar. 28, 2006, by issuing document [2006] No. 611, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Fuyan to Xincai Road within Anhui Province.
　Upon receiving the document, our corporation immediately organized a project expert term, made front preparation and set down specific working schedule. From Apr. 21, 2006 to Apr. 23, Wei Baisong, the Vice President led the project team and expert team to the project site in Fuyang of Anhui province to make investigation, and then held a research meeting on the FSR, followed by detailed communication and discussion with relevant project institutions on existing questions. After comprehensive evaluation on the Project Proposal and the supplementary materials, our corporation submitted BOT Transportation [2006] No. 012 “Evaluation Report on the Application Report of the Fuyan to Xincai Road within Anhui Province” to the NDRC on Jun. 19, 2006, and successfully completed this evaluation task.
　The construction scale of this project is: the total length is 69.4 km; the total length of the 48 bridges is 2313m; the construction period is 3 years. The estimated investment of this project is 2.083 billion RMB, of which 1.953 billion is static investment.
　The construction of the proposed project is necessary to the implementation of the development planning of the transportation network in Anhui province, improvement of the transportation condition between Anhui province and Henan Province, completion of the regional comprehensive transportation system, and the adaptation to the regional transportation development. The completion of this project would bring obvious social profit to the following aspects: fastening the economic development of the middle region, promotion of the economic development in Fuyang, promotion of casting-off poverty and the construction of harmonious society, etc.
