On December 1,2009, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Feasibility Study Report of the Road between Chifeng to Maojingba in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Mr. Wei Baisong, the Vice President, held a research meeting in Chifeng followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Feasibility Study Report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on May 25, 2010, by submitting the document named the Feasibility Study Report of the Road between Chifeng to Maojingba in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 101.7km. It will take three and a half year to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB 4.86billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the perfection of national expressway network, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation. Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefits of accelerating the revitalization strategy of the Northeast Area, speeding up Chifeng economic development, promoting regional tourism cooperation and strengthening national unity etc.
