On September 21, 2009, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Funds Application Report for the Beijing-Hongkong—Macau Express Road between Zhumadian to Xinyang in Henan Province
. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Mr. Dai Riyong, the President, held a research meeting in Zhumadian , followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Feasibility Study Report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on January 19, 2010 by submitting the document named the Evaluation Report for the Funds Application Report for the Beijing-Hongkong—Macau Express Road between Zhumadian to Xinyang in Henan Province to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 136.8km. It will take three years to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB 6 billion, of which the static investment RMB 5.64 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the protection of strategies for the national north-south transportation artery smooth, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation.? Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the development of the implementation of the central strategies，promoting regional economic sustainable development and strengthening tourism cooperation etc .
