On February? 26, 2009, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Funds Application Report for the Expressway between Luohe to Zhumadian in Henan Province in the Beijing-Hongkong-Macau Transportation Channel. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Mr. Wei Baisong, the Vice President, held a research meeting in Zhumadian , followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Funds Application Report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on November 27, 2009 by submitting the document named the Evaluation Report for the Funds Application Report for the Expressway between Luohe to Zhumadian in Henan Province in the Beijing-Hongkong-Macau Transportation Channel to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 63.49km. It will take four years to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB 2.44billion, of which the static investment RMB 2.28 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the guarantee of the smooth passage of such national north-south transportation artery, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation.? Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the development of the implementation of the central strategies，promoting regional economic sustainable development etc .
