January 9, 2006, by issuing document [2006] No. 37, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Lishui to Nanjing Road project within Jiangsu Province.
　Upon receiving the document, our corporation immediately organized a project expert term, made front preparation and set down specific working schedule. From Feb. 7, 2006 to Feb 10, Dai Riyong, the President led the project team and expert team to the project site in Nanjing of Jiangsu province to make investigation, and then held a research meeting on the FSR, followed by detailed communication and discussion with relevant project institutions on existing questions. 　After comprehensive evaluation on the Application Report and the supplementary materials, our corporation submitted BOT Transportation [2006] No. 006 “Evaluation Report on the Application Report of the Lateral of the Hurui State Highway from Lishui to Nanjing” to the NDRC on Mar. 22, 2006, and successfully completed this evaluation task.
　The construction scale of this project is: the total length is 38.1 km; the total length of the 3 large bridges is 2511 m, and that of the 7 medium-sized bridges is 458 m; the construction period is 3 years. The estimated investment of this project is 3.071 billion RMB, of which 2.827 billion is static investment.
　The construction of the proposed project is necessary to the completion of the trunk lines of the state highway and the expressway network, the implementation of the development planning of the transportation network in Jiangsu province, the completion of the regional comprehensive transportation system, and the adaptation to the regional transportation development. The completion of this project would bring obvious social profit to the following aspects: enhancement of the economy integration in the Changjiang Delta, quickening the development of urban circle, and bring the specialized function of the airport expressway into play, etc
