On February 5, 2009, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Project Application of The Road between Shaxi to Yuehuan in Guangdong Province in Zhujiang Delta. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules.? The evaluation and expert team led by Mr.Dai Riyong, the President, held a research meeting in Zhongshan, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions concerning the related issues. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Project Application and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on April 30, 2009, by submitting the document named “The Evaluation for Project Application of The Road between Shaxi to Yuehuan in Guangdong Province in Zhujiang Delta” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 37.7km. with the bridges total length of 15.7km. It will take two years to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB 5.4 billion, of which the static investment RMB 5.1billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the perfection of national expressway network, to the implement of transport development plan of Guangdong road network, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation. ?Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the modernization process of Zhujiang Delta , promoting the economic integration of Guangdong、Hongkong、Macau and urbanization construction etc.
