On December 9, 2009, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate The Feasibility and Research Report of The Chuanzang Road of No.318 National Line Road between Niutagou to Zhongba in Tibet. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Mr.Dai Riyong, the President, held a research meeting in Beijing, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Feasibility Study Report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on April 1, 2009 by submitting the document named “the Evaluation Report for The Feasibility Study of The Chuanzang Road of No.318 National Line Road between Niutagou to Zhongba in Tibet” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 34km. It will take eighteen months to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB 0.26 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the protection of the Sichuan-Tibet Southern Highway strategic passageways clear, to the implement of transport development plan of Tibet Autonomous Region, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation.? Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the development of the western development strategy, promoting the Linzhi region's rapid economic development, to the development of national harmony and political stability in border area, strengthening the building of national defense readiness etc.
