On August 24, 2008, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate The Feasibility and Research Report of The Road between Shanyin to Pinglu in Shanxi Province. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules. The evaluation and expert team led by Mr.Zhao Shitong , the vice President, held a research meeting in Shuozhou, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions about the questions. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Feasibility Study Report and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on November 21, 2008 by submitting the document named “the Evaluation Report for The Feasibility Study of The Road between Shanyin to Pinglu in Shanxi Province” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 107.7km. There’re 37 bridges with the total length of 11585m. It will take three years to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB4.96 billion, of which the static investment is RMB 4.61 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the perfection of national expressway network, to the implement of transport development plan of Shanxi Province, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation. ?Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the development of the strategy of developing of the middle region, to promote the regional economic development in Shuozhou, to the development of region travel cooperation , to promote the construction of national defense and war preparations etc.
