Entrusted by Beijing Development and Reform Commission and Invest Beijing Ltd., BOT Investment Co., Ltd. assumed the evaluation on the Project Proposal of the northern part (Xindiancun Road – Northern Wuhuan Road) of Beichen Eastern Avenue.
　After accepting the task, our corporation immediately established a project evaluation team, and set down detailed working schedule. Wei Baisong, Vice President led the evaluation team to the project spot and carried out investigation. 　After necessary communication and coordination with relevant departments of Dongcheng District Government, the Corporation submitted the evaluation report to the consigner within one week.
　The total investment of this project is 83.71 million RMB. The main project content includes: roads, rainwater drainage pipes, wastewater pipes, transportation reconstruction, cultural relics rehabilitation, removal project, street lamp construction, telecommunication project, electric power project, electric bus lines, landscaping, supervision, vista construction, etc. The project construction will be started in July, 2005, and be completed by the end of December.
　The completion of this project is necessary to fully realize the planning objects of the city construction and to improve the living environment. Obvious social profit would be brought after the completion of this project to the following aspects: the reproduction of the historical scene of this business and cultural street; promotion of the cultural taste of the capital as a famous city prominent in history and culture; improvement of the living environment of the residents nearby; solution to the living and traveling difficulties; propelling the administration of “villages in city” phenomena in Beijing; and the execution of Olympic planning.
