?On May 15, 2008, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Project Application of The Road between Yangshuo and Luzhai in Guangxi Municipality. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules.? The evaluation and expert team led by Mr.Dai Riyong, the President, held a research meeting in Guilin, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions concerning the related issues. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Project Application and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on October 8, 2008, by submitting the document named “The Evaluation for Project Application of The Road between Yangshuo and Luzhai in Guangxi Municipality” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 87.31km. There’re 89 bridges with the total length of 11764m. ?After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB4.66 billion, of which the static investment RMB4.2 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the perfection of national expressway network, to the implement of transport development plan of Guangxi Municipality skeleton road network, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation. ?Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the development of the strategy of developing of the western region, to boost the economic development of Guangxi Municipality, to the regional travel cooperation etc.
