On May 15, 2008, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Project Proposal for The Road between Dezhou to Xiajin in Shandong Province. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules.? The evaluation and expert team led by Mr.Wei Baisong, the vice President, held a research meeting in Jinan, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions concerning the related issues. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Project Proposal and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on August 28, 2008, by submitting the document named “The Evaluation for Project A Proposal for The Road between Dezhou to Xiajin in Shandong Province” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 39.2km. There’re 35 bridges with the total length of 2213m. ?After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB3.084 billion, of which the static investment RMB2.89 billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the advance of the Shandong-Hebei path construction, to the implement of transport development plan of Shandong Province skeleton road network, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation. ?Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the economic communication between Shandong and Hebei, to boost the economic development of Shandong northwest region, to promote the regional travel resource exploitation etc.
