On April 15, 2008, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Project Proposal for The Resuo Bridge on JilongPort in Tibet Rikaze. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules.? The evaluation and expert team led by Mr.Wei Baisong, the vice President, held a research meeting in Lasa, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions concerning the related issues. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Project Proposal and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on August 22, 2008, by submitting the document named “The Evaluation for Project A Proposal for The Resuo Bridge on JilongPort in Tibet Rikaze” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 618m. It will take one year to complete.After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB118.9million,.The construction of this project is essential to the advance of the China-Nepal Jilong port open construction, to the perfection of road transport path between China and Nepal , to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation.? Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the trade cooperation between China and Nepal, to boost the economic development of Jilong county, to promote the ethnic groups correspondence and stability in border areas etc.
