?On March 17, 2008, the National Development and Reform Commission entrusted BOT Investment Co., Ltd. to evaluate the Project Application of The Road between Dongsheng to Chahannao in Inner Mongolia Municipality. Our corporation immediately established a project expert term, made preliminary preparations for the evaluation work and set down detailed work schedules.? The evaluation and expert team led by Mr.Wei Baisong , the vice President, held a research meeting in Dongsheng, followed by detailed communication and discussions with relevant project institutions concerning the related issues. After the comprehensive evaluation on the Project Application and the supplementary materials supplied by the project institutions, our corporation successfully completed the evaluation task on August 11, 2008, by submitting the document named “The Evaluation for Project Application of The Road between Dongsheng to Chahannao in Inner Mongolia Municipality” to the National Development and Reform Commission.
The construction scope of this project: the total length of the main road is 181.7km. There’re 9 bridges with the total length of 848m.? It will take three years to complete. After the evaluation, the adjusted budget of this project is RMB5.446 billion, of which the static investment RMB5.085billion.
The construction of this project is essential to the perfection of national expressway network, to the implement of transport development plan of Inner Mongolia Municipality skeleton road network, to the development of regional comprehensive conveyance network and to the adaptation of the development of the regional transportation.? Upon the completion of this project, it will generate substantially social benefit of accelerating the development of the strategy of developing of the western region,to boost economic development of “ Huhehaote-Baotou-E’erduosi” golden triangle region , to strengthen national solidarity and stability of the border areas etc.
