In the early 2004, Foshan Municipal Administration of Public Utilities formally entrusted the BOT Corporation as the consultant for Foshan Municipal Government adopting BOT concession rights to operate and build the Baishiao Municipal Solid Waste Sanitary Landfill (Phase I), Miao Village of Foshan City. As required by Foshan Municipal Government, the BOT Corporation has put forward and worked out the overall program for the Baishiao Municipal Solid Waste Sanitary Landfill (Phase I), Miao Village of Foshan City to operate by using BOT method, based on which it has completed the project proposal for the Baishiao Municipal Solid Waste Sanitary Landfill (Phase I), Miao Village, Gaoming, Foshan City, the Investment Frame Agreement and Tendering Document for the Foshan Municipal Solid Waste Sanitary Landfill project, it has also assisted Foshan Municipal Government to invite public bidding in order to select principals for investment, building and operation.
　Baishiao Municipal Solid Waste Sanitary Landfill, Miao Village, Gaoming, Foshan City has a daily waste disposal volume as 1,518 ton/d, with a landfill capacity of 32424.8×103 m3 and a total landfill volume of 19860×103 tons; the total landfill volume of the second phase was 6838×103 tons with a designed service term of 49.06 years.
